VERNIS MOTORS SUPPORTS THE FORMULA STUDENT TEAM OF UNIVERSITY UPC

VERNIS MOTORS will bet another year for the e-tech racing team, and will support the design and construction of its new student formula car, with the provision of two electric motors.

Since the eighties, there is a worldwide competition where teams trained by engineering students have to gain and expand their knowledge by designing and pouring a small car of style to compete against other universities in the World.
Currently, with more than 400 teams divided into electrical and combustion equipment, and with 16 competitions on 4 continents, it has become the biggest showcase for future automotive engineers. It’s called Formula Student.

Vernis Motors became the main sponsor of one of these teams, the e-Tech Racing team of Barcelona two years ago.
The company’s proposal was to design the engines for the car’s propulsion and, at a time when the company’s participation in the field of electric mobility grew rapidly, Vernis Motors could not deny it. VERNIS MOTORS, SL at AUTOMOBILE 100 YEARS of Barcelona

VERNIS MOTORS, SL has participated in the AUTOMOBILE 100 YEARS Fair of BARCELONA, in which it has presented the latest developments in electric motors for vehicles.

The AUTOMOBILE Fair, held in Barcelona from May 11 to 19 at the Montjuic fairgrounds in Barcelona, gathered more than 100,000 visitors, and was inaugurated by His Excellency King of Spain, Don Felipe de Borbón.

This exhibition has been a collaborative project with the Mexican firm, manufacturer of the ZACUA electric vehicle, exhibited in our stand. The VERNIS electric motor that was presented, is designed with an innovative design and a continuous power of 15 KW, yields a maximum power of 40 KW with a nominal torque of 32 Nm and a maximum torque of 85 Nm. The engine has an efficiency of 90%.

VERNIS MOTORS support the Motospirit Team of The University of Terrassa

VERNIS MOTORS SL in its firm commitment to collaborate with universities and knowledge centers of our industrial ecosystem, we have signed a collaboration agreement with the Motospirit Team of the University of Terrassa (Barcelona, Spain).

MotoSpirit is a group of students of the last industrial engineering course at the School of Industrial and Aeronautical Engineering of Terrassa (ETSEIAT). They work designing, developing and building the prototype of a motorcycle with which they will participate in the MotoStudent university competition, where they will face universities from all over the world.

MotoSpirit UPC is part of the INSPIRE program of the ESEIAAT, recently awarded with the Vicente Vives de la Generalitat award for the best teaching initiative.

Daniel Oliva, member of the team has joined the R + D + i team of our firm.

The EXPOELECTRIC Fair, held in Barcelona from October 6 to 7, brought together more than 23,000 visitors, and is considered the largest fair organized in southern Europe dedicated to sustainable mobility.

June 2018: SUCCESSFUL PARTICIPATION OF VERNIS MOTORS AT THE BIEMH FAIR OF BILBAO

Analyzed the data of affluence of our stand and consultations carried out after the last edition of the Biennial Machine Tool Fair held at the BEC of Bilbao, we can see the success of participation in this important industrial summit. Our stand counted with a great affluence of visitors, clients, suppliers, friends and representatives of companies interested in our products.

The participation of BIEMH, held in Bilbao from May 28 to June 1, has been a resounding success. At BIEMH 2018, the machine tool biennial attracted a large number of professionals from the sector who were able to check the advantages of the new high-efficiency motors for electric mobility, among other products.

A total of 1,510 exhibiting firms from 21 countries have participated in the Fair, throughout the six pavilions of Bilbao Exhibition Center. The growth of 15% over the final occupation figure obtained in its previous edition anticipates that the Spanish industrial sector , is living some good times.
